 Banoffee pie taste like milk Banoffee pie taste is an English pie made in a pub called The Hungry Monk. 


The name comes from the combination of two words – banana and toffee – the two main ingredients of the recipe. "Toffee" refers to the caramel obtained by cooking the condensed milk, which is nothing more than a creamy, earthy dulce de leche. This recipe is easy and sweet to make.

Pasta:

 

- 1 packet of 200 grams cornstarch biscuits

 

- 1/2 cup [100 grams] melted butter

 

- 1 tsp wheat flour

 

- 1 pinch cinnamon

 

 

 

Filling:

 

- 3 ripe bananas, sliced

 

- 2 tbsp lemon juice

 

- 1 pot of 400g dulce de leche or 1 can of boiled condensed milk (cook without a label in a pressure cooker for 30 minutes, and open only after it has cooled completely)

 

- 1 cup of fresh cream

 

- 2 tbsp sugar

 

- For sprinkling cinnamon.

Grind the wafer in a blender and put it in a bowl. Add butter and flour and mix well. With a removable rim of 20 cm in diameter, distribute the dough along the bottom and sides of the mold, pressing with the back of a spoon. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. Let cool completely.

 

 

 

Filling:

 

Cut the banana into a bowl, add the lemon juice and mix gently. reserve. Fill the dough with dulce de leche, and distribute banana slices on top. Beat the cold cream with the sugar until fluffy peaks (whipped cream points) are formed. Spread on bananas and sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve cold.
